Gabrielle "Gabi" McComb Lima started jiu-jitsu at eight years old in Manaus, Brazil — the heart of the Amazon — training side by side with her sister Andrea. What began as a kids' class became a life: black belt by twenty, then a run through the sport's biggest stages that few athletes ever match.

World champion in the gi. World champion without it. Pan-American gold, again and again. In 2025 she took the fight somewhere new — professional MMA — and has raced to an undefeated 4–0 start, finishing fights by submission.

Today Gabi splits her time between competing at the highest level and teaching what she knows — seminars, camps, and private training for athletes who want a world-class grappling game.
