The story
Born for the fight.
Gabrielle "Gabi" McComb Lima started jiu-jitsu at eight years old in Manaus, Brazil — the heart of the Amazon — training beside her sister Andrea. What began as a kids' class became a life: black belt by twenty, then a run through the sport's biggest stages that few athletes ever match.
World champion in the gi. World champion without it. Pan-American gold, again and again. In 2025 she took the fight somewhere new — professional MMA — and raced to an undefeated 4–0, finishing both of her LFA bouts by submission inside the first round.
Today Gabi trains and competes out of San Diego, and teaches what she knows: seminars, camps, and private training for athletes who want a world-class grappling game.
